Nashville, Tennessee, September 8, 2015 – Electronic Funds Source LLC (EFS), a leading innovator of customized corporate payment solutions, announces another new transportation customer, Abilene Motor Express, to transition to the EFS payments platform.

Abilene Motor Express, headquartered in Richmond, VA, is the latest trucking company to move its payments business to EFS. Abilene Motor Express selected EFS because of its forward-thinking approach and how it’s using leading technology to help move the industry forward. “EFS helped us realize tremendous efficiencies with their real-time interface into our existing transportation management software,” said Alan Jones, VP of Operations for Abilene Motor Express.

EFS built a real-time interactive interface into Abilene Motor Express’ existing transportation management software (TMS) which eliminated manual and multi-step processes in managing their payments and provided more visibility and control over their transactions. “Before we began discussions with EFS, we had integration into our TMS, but had no idea of the true benefit a real-time interface could bring to our operations and our business. We have significantly improved our operational efficiency and have better quality data overall,” said Jones.

“We’re thrilled to have Abilene Motor Express as the latest carrier to implement on the EFS platform,” said Tim Hampton, SVP Fleet Sales for EFS. “EFS continues to focus on bringing new technologies to help our customers – and the industry – improve efficiencies and performance. This is another great example of how EFS is continuing to help move our industry forward, making payments smarter for our customers and the industry we serve,” said Hampton.
