EFS WINS LANDAIR PAYMENTS BUSINESS

Nashville, Tennessee, March 14, 2017 – Today, EFS, a WEX company, a leader in fleet payment solutions, announced that its latest transportation customer, Landair Transport Inc. (Landair), will move its business to EFS.
With corporate offices in Greeneville, Tenn., Landair chose to move its business to EFS for its leading technology, specifically regarding the controls and seamless integration into Landair’s existing software system.

“We’d been searching for a way to get better control over our fuel purchasing,” said Brande Tweed, VP of Finance and Accounting for Landair. “EFS already had a direct integration into the software system we were using for managing fuel routes which then gave us the ability to lock down our fuel network for better security and control. We also had approximately 450 drivers to transition to EFS fuel cards and the transition was seamless to our drivers and EFS completed the full transition in less than three weeks.”

Landair went live on January 9th, 2017, with EFS’ fuel card solution, its SecureFuelSM purchasing control solution, fuel tax solution and virtual accounts payable solution for back-office payable efficiencies.

“We’re proud to have Landair join our portfolio of fleet customers,” said Tim Hampton, SVP of Fleet Sales for EFS. “Our ability to deliver a customized solution that meets Landair’s needs and seamlessly integrates with their existing technology is exactly how we’re simplifying and streamlining payments for our customers and across the industry.”
