Another week, and more record fuel prices have been seen across the country.  If this situation remains as is, the Federal Government has a tough decision to make in terms of reinstating the full fuel excise in September. Peak prices of 239.9cpl were displayed on pumps across many of the nations capitals, and the new cycles in Brisbane and Sydney are likely to initiate a new national average fuel price record within the next couple of weeks.

Brisbane

Current ULP average: 209.0cpl

Price range over the last week: 197.4cpl – 239.9cpl

Fuel prices are looking to climb up to around 239.9cpl within the next week, as Brisbane approaches the bottom of its current price cycle.

Sydney

Current ULP average: 209.5cpl
