Nashville, Tennessee, September 18th, 2017 – Today, EFS – a WEX Company announced the launch of its newest mobile application for fleet managers, EFS CarrierControl. EFS CarrierControl brings enhanced functionality and usability to fleet managers putting the power of the EFS platform into the convenience of a mobile app. EFS already has an industry-leading fleet manager mobile app and has made it even better.
EFS is helping fleet managers better manage and control time-sensitive employee or contractor payment card needs anytime and anywhere – from their mobile device. The EFS CarrierControl app allows fleet managers secure access to perform critical functions in real time via their mobile device such as authorizing MoneyCodes® for check cashing or payments, tracking MoneyCode transactions, loading cash to cards, and performing real-time overrides if an employee or contractor needs immediate access to additional company funds – for example an unplanned roadside repair. In addition, fleet managers can view real-time card transaction detail including rejected transactions to proactively address any potentially fraudulent or unauthorized card use. EFS CarrierControl also provides robust card management functionality including access to real-time credit balances and limits along with the ability to change the card status to active/inactive/on-hold in real time.
“EFS continues to focus on using data and technology to bring real-working solutions to our customers that enhance efficiencies, lower costs and mitigate risk,” said Stacy Brothers, Manager of Mobile Application Development for EFS. “Providing our customers the ability to leverage the robust functionality of our payment platforms via a mobile device allows them to be more efficient in managing their fleets while on the go.”
The EFS CarrierControl app is available for download free in the Apple App Store and Google Play. While the app is free for download, users must be a current EFS customer in order to use the app.
