Two Minutes with a WEXer: Intern-View

Everyone at WEX has a story—how they got here, what they do, how they impact the community, and more. We care about our employees, as well as their stories, and to highlight some of these stories, we introduced a blog series—Two Minutes with a WEXer—to introduce our readers to what goes on inside the walls of our offices in Maine, Melbourne, Sao Paulo, Singapore, London, Rome, and more.

Today, we have a special WEX Employee Profile featuring one of our Summer 2016 interns, Maura Mancini, who is interning at WEX Headquarters in our virtual marketing division.

Employee Profile Intern-View Edition: Maura Mancini, Virtual Marketing Intern

Currently a sophomore at Waltham, Massachusetts-based Bentley University, Ms. Mancini is an aspiring marketing major who hopes to supplement her degree with a double minor in economics and psychology.

As a Virtual Marketing Intern with WEX, Maura is in charge of many important processes in WEX’s messaging and communications—bringing a wide variety of skills that include copy editing, social media, creative writing, web content development, and design.

Aside from her experience in marketing, Ms. Mancini has held prior positions in customer service and sales, and currently participates in highly regarded organizations at Bentley, including the Bentley Leadership Society and Circle K International.

Ms. Mancini was drawn to a major in marketing because it combines her business acumen and drive with a creative passion and desire to learn. Outside of school and work, Maura is a fitness enthusiast, instructor, and amateur competitor in the CrossFit Games.
