Slight disruption in regular price cycles for both Adelaide and Perth this week, whilst this is common for Adelaide not so much for Perth. It’s expected that there will be a slight shift back weekly cycles but we could see something different. We’re also likely to see a significant jump in ULP prices this week across most cities with the current average retail price slowly creeping up to the wholesale price.

Brisbane

Current ULP average: 189.2cpl

Price range over the last week: 147.9cpl – 199.9cpl

Most retailers have increased their prices over this last week, with only handful still down in the 140s and 50s.

Sydney

Current ULP average: 166.3cpl

Price range over the last week:145.6cpl – 219.9cpl

Whilst most retailers have increased their prices in the last week or so to 193.9cpl for E10, there are still some retailers with prices still in the 140s and 150s.

Melbourne

Current ULP average: 182.1pl

Price range over the last week: 143.9cpl – 214.2cpl

Despite the price jump from majority of retailers there are some isolated pockets with lower prices in Melbourne.

Adelaide

Current ULP average: 156.1cpl

Price range over the last week: 143.9cpl – 219.8cpl

Adelaide seems to be set for a mini price cycle, looking at 169.9cpl, though this has been up and down quickly over the last week.

Perth

Current ULP average: 154.6cpl

Price range over the last week: 140.7cpl – 199.9cpl

Over the last week we’ve seen some unusual pricing in the Perth Market, with the fortnightly cycle disrupted there is a significant price jump expect Wednesday.

Darwin (no price cycle)

Current ULP average: 184.6cpl

Price range over the last week: 179.5cpl – 195.9cpl

Another drop for Darwin with prices dropping approx. 7cpl.

Hobart (no price cycle)

Current ULP average: 178.8cpl

Price range over the last week: 163.9cpl – 198.9cpl

Hobart prices have continued to drop by 6cpl.

Retail diesel prices

Brisbane –199.7cpl

Darwin –207.6cpl

Hobart – 205.6cpl

Melbourne – 200.0cpl

Perth – 189.8cpl

Sydney – 189.8cpl

Another significant drop in prices across all major cities again – however this may be the end of this cycle with wholesale prices starting to pick up again from this week.
