With average prices at its peak now, Brisbane motorists will not see another price cycle for the next couple of weeks. However, in comparison, other major capitals can expect changes shortly. These low drops in prices will not last long. Now might be the time to fill up!

Brisbane

Current ULP average: 200.1cpl

Price range over the last week: 162.7cpl – 228.9cpl

Brisbane market has entered into it’s discount phase, though this places Brisbane as the highest priced capital in the country this week.

Sydney

Current ULP average: 187.6cpl

Price range over the last week: 165.7cpl – 213.9cpl

Prices in Sydney have dropped significantly over the last week – after a couple of relatively high two weeks. Motorists though can expect this to continue for the coming fortnight before price cycles change!

Melbourne

Current ULP average: 192.8cpl

Price range over the last week: 164.9cpl – 214.5cpl

In a slight change from Melbourne is behind approximately a week behind Sydney though we expect to see a price drop within the next week or so.

Adelaide

Current ULP average: 168.5ccpl

Price range over the last week: 158.5cpl – 190.1cpl

Adelaide’s prices continue to fall over the last week and expect a new change as the price cycle starts this week.

Perth

Current ULP average: 170.2cpl

Price range over the last week: 159.7cpl – 209.9cpl

Similar to last week, expect another price cycle this coming Wednesday with Unleaded 91 expect to sit at 209.9cpl.

Darwin (no price cycle)

Current ULP average: 179.5cpl

Price range over the last week: 171.5cpl – 181.9cpl

A  slight increase for Darwin over the past week.

Hobart (no price cycle)

Current ULP average: = 186.6cpl

Price range over the last week: 177.7cpl – 193.8cpl

Slight decreased for Hobarts average unleaded 91 price.

Retail diesel prices

Current Diesel averages:

ACT – 209.4cpl

Adelaide – 191.2cpl

Brisbane – 200.9cpl

Darwin – 210.7cpl

Hobart – 210.2cpl

Melbourne – 200.1cpl

Perth – 187.9cpl

Sydney – 199.7cpl

Diesel prices slightly reduced over the last week by approximately 1-2cpl.

Wholesale trends

Wholesale petrol prices decreased this week with average TGP prices going down by 1.8cpl.

Wholesale diesel prices decreased this week with average TGP prices going down by 3.5cpl.
