- These Terms and Conditions apply to the WEX Motorpass $1,000 Shell Gift Card Promotion – promoted by WEX Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 005 970 570) of Level 23, 367 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000 Australia (the “Promoter”). The Promoter can be contacted at the above address or by phone on 1300 366 109 or by email at enquiries@wexaustralia.com.
- The Promotion commences at 12.01 am AEDT on 1st March 2025 and closes at 11.59 pm AEST on 30th April 2025 (the “Promotional Period”).
- Entry is open to all active* WEX Motorpass Fuel Card Accounts. *The WEX Motorpass Account must not be suspended or cancelled at the time a prize is claimed.
- The Promoter and its employees are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
- There are ten Shell digital gift cards to be won. Each winner will receive a gift card worth AUD $1,000 in total. The total prize pool value is AUD $10,000.
- A WEX Motorpass Account holder will automatically go in the draw every time the WEX Motorpass Account holder fills up 30 litres or more using their WEX Motorpass Card at a participating Shell, Reddy Express, Coles Express or On The Run service station. A WEX Motorpass Account holder with one or more entries in the draw is an “Entrant”.
- There is no limit on the number of entries an Entrant may receive, but an Entrant can only win once.
- In the event of uncertainty, a difference or a dispute, the Promoter will in its sole discretion determine:
- whether or not a business is an active WEX Motorpass Account holder;
- whether or not a WEX Motorpass Account holder is an Entrant, including determining the date on which a relevant WEX Motorpass fuel card was issued; and
- whether any transaction entitles the WEX Motorpass Account holder to an entry.
- The Promoter may in its sole discretion, disqualify any Entrant for any reason, including without limitation because the Promoter suspects fraud or manipulation, the WEX Motorpass Account has been suspended or any other improper conduct. The Promoter may also, in its absolute discretion, cancel the Promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Victoria and each WEX Motorpass Fuel Card Account holder agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
- The prize draw for all Entrants will take place on Friday 16th May 2025 at 10 am AEST.
- The draw will take place at the offices of WEX Australia Pty Ltd, Level 23, 367 Collins Street Melbourne VIC 3000. The draw will be conducted by computer-generated random selection. If a draw would result in an Entrant winning a second prize, then the prize will be re-drawn until a new winner is found. The name (first initial and surname or company name) and postcode of each winner will be published on the WEX Motorpass website (and published as otherwise required by law) within 30 days of the draw.
- The Promoter’s decision as to any aspect of the Promotion, including regarding the winner/s, is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Each Shell digital gift card will be issued subject to the Shell gift card terms and conditions, which can be found here. Each Shell digital gift card may be used at any Viva Energy Australia owned sites (Shell, Reddy Express, Coles Express and On The Run sites).
- No prize is redeemable for cash.
- The Promoter may in its sole discretion, disqualify any Entrant for any reason, including without limitation because the Promoter suspects fraud or manipulation, the WEX Motorpass Account has been suspended or any other improper conduct. Subject to the Promoter first receiving approval under any relevant State or Territory law or regulation, the Promoter may also, in its absolute discretion, cancel the Promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including as a result of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, safety or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, subject to any applicable legislation. The Promoter reserves the right to exercise its absolute discretion in excluding entries that it considers to be contrary to law and to substitute the prize for another of equal value if the prize is unavailable or unable to be supplied.
- The winners will be informed by telephone or in person, and in writing (which may include email) within 7 days of the draw. Any winner must claim their prize by contacting WEX at 1300 366 109 or email to enquiries@wexaustralia.com. The prize will be issued to the winners by email within 7 days of claiming their prize. In the event that the winner/s chooses not to accept the prize, they forfeit all and any claims to the prize, and a winner will be redrawn under clause 20 below.
- Details of the winners of claimed prizes may also be published in WEX social media channels and other publications.
- If a prize is declined, is not accepted by a winner or otherwise goes unclaimed for three months after the draw date, the Promoter will conduct a re-draw. The re-draw will be conducted on 20 August 2025 at 10am at the offices of WEX Australia Pty Ltd, Level 23, 367 Collins Street Melbourne VIC 3000. The re‑draw will be conducted in the same manner as the initial draw and notification of the winner and the timing for claiming and delivery of the prize otherwise occurring in accordance with the timing associated with the initial draw (subject to any direction or approval required from any relevant regulatory authority). The unclaimed prize winner will be notified in writing within 7 days of the re‑draw. The name (first initial and surname or company name) and postcode of each winner will be published on the WEX Motorpass website within 30 days of the re-draw.
- In claiming a prize, the Entrant consents to:
- participating in a photo, recording or video sessions as reasonably required by the Promotion; and
- the promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media (including social media) and publications for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), the Promoter and any products arranged, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter including the WEX Motorpass Fuel Card.

- The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on this personal information being provided. The Promoter will also use and disclose personal information as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.wexinc.com/motorpass/privacy-notice/.
This includes using personal information for promotional, marketing, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how Entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their personal information, how Entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
