WEX EUROPE SERVICES NAMED AS ONE OF THE NORTH-WEST’S BEST BUSINESSES IN 2017
15TH NOVEMBER 2017
WEX Europe Services, owner and distributor of the Esso Card™ fuel card, has been named in the Manchester Evening News’ Greater Manchester Business Week Top 200 companies in the north-west of England.
Produced in partnership with Barclays, Manchester Airports Group, Oman Air and Pinsent Masons, the Top 200 guide celebrates the successes of the biggest and best companies in the region – and WEX Europe Services is placed among the top-20.
The data was compiled by Manchester Metropolitan University, where a range of measures were investigated to determine the best companies, such as those with high turnovers and profits, as well as brands which are fast-growing and have a large workforce.
Consequently, those brands were ranked in terms of their turnover, reported in accounts up to the 31st May.
WEX Europe Services’ Managing Director, Malcolm Joyce, said: “This award is recognition of the commitment and quality of work all members of staff at WEX Europe Services have achieved since the company was founded in 2014.
“As the brand closes on its third birthday, to be ranked among some of the best and biggest brands in the north-west of England is a fantastic achievement.”
