Over the next week, we’re expecting to see a glimpse of what the likely peak prices will be in the major cities. Though it’s expected both Perth and Adelaide will see ULP prices to increase over 220cpl. This would take us to the historical high prices we saw before the excise reductions earlier in the year. Motorists in Perth, now is the time to fill up – but be quick with price cycles looking to jump over the next week.

Sydney

Current ULP average: 204.0cpl

Current ULP average: 201.2cpl

Price range over the last week: 179.9cpl – 224.9cpl

Of all capitals, Melbourne’s prices dropped over the last week with discounting across retailers also kicking in over the week. Though, motorists will need to wait another 2 weeks before filling up!

Adelaide

Current ULP average: 189.7cpl

Price range over the last week: 165.5cpl – 221.9cpl

Adelaide has prices have decreased from its peak last week of 214.9cpl for ULP. We expect further falls for another week or so before the next spike.

Perth

Current ULP average: 181.5cpl

Price range over the last week: 165.7cpl – 209.9cpl
