We’re expecting to see a further reduction in the next few days which will likely mean price cycles will be pushed back for another week in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney! However Motorists in Adelaide, now is a good time to fill up!

Brisbane

Current ULP average: 191.6cpl

Price range over the last week: 171.9cpl – 228.9cpl

Large drop in average price cycles this week in Brisbane – likely because of the wholesale petrol prices though we expect that it’ll be another 2 weeks before we hit the bottom of the price cycle.

Sydney

Current ULP average: 194.0cpl

Price range over the last week: 173.9cpl – 215.9cpl

Similar position for Sydney this week also!

Melbourne

Current ULP average: 190.1pl

Price range over the last week: 173.9cpl – 224.9cpl

Following suit, Melbourne is also in a similar position with price cycles likely to be another 2 weeks away.

Adelaide

Current ULP average: 172.9cpl

Price range over the last week: 167.5cpl – 210.7cpl

Adelaide is currently at the bottom of the price cycle, with the first signs of a price jump within the next few days. Looks like several retails are already posting prices for ULP at 209.9cpl. If you’re in Adelaide, now is the time to fill up.

Perth

Current ULP average: 180.4cpl

Price range over the last week: 168.7cpl – 214.9cpl

With Perth current in its fortnightly price cycle – we’re expecting this to drop down near 170cpl next Tuesday 28 November with the new pricing cycle to begin on Wednesday 29 November.

Darwin (no price cycle)

Current ULP average: 189.0cpl

Price range over the last week: 180.5cpl – 193.9cpl

No change at all for Darwin’s average price this week.

Hobart (no price cycle)

Current ULP average: 194.1cpl

Price range over the last week: 183.9cpl – 200.1cpl

A very small drop in ULP prices for Hobart.

Retail diesel prices

Current Diesel averages:

ACT – 235.2cpl

Adelaide – 225.4cpl

Brisbane – 236.0cpl

Darwin – 239.3cpl

Hobart – 243.2cpl

Melbourne – 234.5cpl

Perth – 225.6cpl

Sydney – 234.2cpl

Minor movements both up and down for diesel prices this week – Perth and Adelaide are currently sitting at the lowest.

Wholesale trends

Wholesale petrol prices decreased this week with average TGP prices going down by 5.8cpl.

Wholesale diesel prices decreased this week with average TGP prices going down by 8.3cpl.
