Matt joined WEX in the Spring of 2019 as the Director of New Business Ventures, bringing to the company over half a dozen years of banking strategy and leadership experience. As Co-Founder and GM of Flume, Matt is responsible for WEX’s nascent small business digital wallet platform. Flume, a first-of-its-kind digital wallet targeting 30 million small businesses excluded from the digital payments market, unlocks fast, transparent payments for small businesses.
Prior to joining WEX, Matt worked at Goldman Sachs in New York, starting as an analyst and at the end of his seven years served the institution as Vice President.
Matt received a B.A. in Russian Language from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
