Open enrollment in the U.S. is winding down: The last day to enroll in a new health insurance plan or change your existing health insurance plan for coverage next year is Sunday, Dec. 15. If you don’t act by then, you can’t get 2020 coverage unless you qualify for a special enrollment period.
Even if you’ve waited until the last minute, it’s not too late to make an informed decision and ask the right questions about your health benefits options. To help you get quickly but thoroughly informed about which health insurance option will best serve you and your family next year, WEX Health has created a downloadable Open Enrollment Cheat Sheet.
- Terms you should know
- Tips to inform your decision-making and plan for upcoming expenses
- Information about high-deductible health plans and health savings accounts
- Questions to ask yourself
- Questions to ask your employer
Feel free to bring this sheet with you to work, and continue browsing the WEX Health Trends & Insights blog for more information that will help you simplify healthcare.
