WEX Exec to Speak at Commercial Cards & Payments Summit Europe

January 20, 2016

In a constantly shifting technological and regulatory environment, those who can make preparations for all possible outcomes will be able to make the decisions that lead their companies to growth, compliance, and security. To help companies prepare for the road ahead, Commercial Payments International, in partnership with EuroFinance, will be hosting its 6th annual Europe Commercial Cards and Payments Summit on March 15-16 at Hilton Canary Wharf, London, UK.

The Europe Commercial Cards and Payments Summit 2016

If you do business in Europe and are looking to drive growth in 2016 and beyond, Join WEX and other card and payments industry leaders and get the answers to the key questions you should be asking:

  • How can Blockchain technology be applied to commercial payments?
  • What new technologies are available, which ones will impact your business and which companies should you be looking out for?
  • What do the regulators in Brussels plan to do next?
  • What lessons can be learned from other markets to overcome the challenge of supplier enablement in Europe?
  • Your customers‘ world is changing – what do you need to know and do in order to adapt?

With all of the developments in Europe today across the commercial cards and payments space, including regulatory changes, new competitors and much more, this is a not to be missed event for all commercial cards and payments professionals and providers.

In this two-day summit, over 100 senior leaders from the payments space will meet to discuss the future of payments in Europe and how to adjust strategies accordingly.

The New, Virtual World of Our Customers

WEX’s own Senior Vice President, General Manager of Virtual Payments Jim Pratt will be participating in a discussion on the changing world of customers, joining Andrew Barningham, Product Development Director at DataFlexNet and Ashley Beard, Director, Relationship Management at TSYS International; discussing the continued push toward virtual payments, as well as how it affects the payments environment.

Details of the event, scheduled for 4:00 PM on March 15:

“Like all parts of life, commercial payments are becoming more virtual for our customers. Hear a panel discuss how virtual products, such as single use accounts, are changing the world of B2B payments. They will discuss the benefits to your customers such as increased resiliency to fraud and easier reconciliation. Virtual products will be looked at across sectors including healthcare, fleet, travel and how this trend is displacing tradition payment methods with a virtual card.”
