WEX Gives Back
WEX gives back to the community, supporting our mission to act as an engaged and responsible corporate citizen. Giving back is both an opportunity and responsibility, we believe–-this is what good business professionals and humans do.
With roots in Maine, WEX is active in working to benefit the greater Portland area. Additionally, at WEX, we offer our support to many organizations in the regions in which we operate. We are members of the global community and support our workplace, our community, and our future.
The program, titled WEX Corporate Philanthropy, directs support to benefit the Arts, Financial Stability, Education, and Wellbeing. Read the 2016 Corporate Social Responsibility Report to learn more about WEX’s philanthropic arm.
The company’s efforts are organic, with avocation for employee engagement. WEX staff are asked to get involved and are given support to do so through paid volunteer days off and volunteer opportunities, matching gift funds, on and off-site learning and engagement with charitable partners, and complimentary event and activity tickets.
