BOYD BROS. GOES LIVE WITH EFS

Nashville, Tennessee, June 10, 2013 – Electronic Funds Source LLC (EFS), the leader in innovative and customized corporate payment solutions announces its latest transportation partner to implement, Boyd Bros. Transportation Inc., a large regional flatbed truckload carrier operating throughout the eastern two-thirds of the United States. Headquartered in Clayton, AL, Boyd Bros. is the latest carrier to make the transition to EFS.

Boyd Bros., who also owns WTI Transport (Tuscaloosa, AL) and who recently acquired Mid Seven Transportation (Des Moines, IA) made the decision to implement with EFS because of their commitment to technology and their unique approach to helping carriers become more efficient in managing their payments in today’s competitive environment. “Boyd Bros. is a highly-modified AS400 shop and not every out-of-the-box solution will work for us,” said Betty Adams, Fuel Manager at Boyd Bros. “They developed real-time, integrated, customized programming specifically to meet our needs and their customer relations and support teams delivered exceptional service throughout the implementation.”

Adams said one of the biggest influences in their decision to implement with EFS was ‘they are very forward-thinking in terms of payments and how they affect our industry’. Adams also highlighted EFS’ online fuel reconciliation tool and indicated that in addition to purchase controls and validation, it saved them hours auditing their fuel discounts and purchases.
