WEX has been awarded a five-year IT Schedule 70 contract with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), the procurement arm of the federal government. Through this agreement, federal customers will be able to purchase WEX Telematics solutions through a standardized procurement process, which will streamline access to tools to maximize fleet performance, reduce costs and risks, improve customer service and become greener.
“WEX has been serving the needs of government fleets for decades, and it is an honor to be recognized as an approved vendor of telematics solutions for the federal government and its agencies,” said Bernie Kavanagh, senior vice president and general manager of North America large fleet and strategic relationships at WEX. “Coupled with our proprietary technology and award-winning customer service, we look forward to giving government officials access to data-driven insights, which will enable them to make more informed business decisions.”
The GSA IT Schedule 70 award is the culmination of a rigorous process in which the GSA carefully evaluates companies to determine their proficiency and suitability for providing products and/or services to the federal government. The assessment covers an array of a company’s capabilities including organizational structure, performance history and customer satisfaction.
WEX Telematics solutions are now available through the GSA website. Head to www.gsaadvantage.gov.
